Hi there,
animaGIF provides a handy solution to create animations from a set of figures or images.
However I experience some issues using: idGif = animaGIF( gcf(), myPath);
- Scilab 2025.1.0
- animaGIF 1.0
- Windows 11
1.: resulting gif holds only the last frame
2.: image quality is very low
Best Regard,
Philipp
Here an example of a gif:
It should hold 10 frames, but it just contains only the last.
Image info: 1384 x 1072 x 4 BPP
Some updates:
On a different PC is a slightly different configuration:
- Scilab 6.1.1
- Scilab 2025.0.0
- Win 11
As for Sciab 6.1.1
After fiddeling a little around I had animaGIF working as expected using temporary images as input.
As for Sciab 2025.0.0
Previous to animaGIF the toolbox scicv version 4.8.1-1 was installed.
Installing animaGIF via atoms tried to unload scicv…without success.
Restarting Scilab seem to load scicv and animaGIF … (no other external toolboxes are installed)
Executing the same script did build the GIF, but with lower quality.
Does animaGIF need an rebuild for newer Scilab versions?
Thanks,
Philipp
