Dear all,
to test the new version Scilab 2023.0.0 on my WIN64, I just tried to install sci-IPopt : ATOMS is failing in the very beginning installation stage with following error message in the console:
atomsInstall: Error while building the toolbox ‘C:\Users\dc227480\AppData\Local\scilab-2023.0.0\contrib\sci_ipopt\1.3.2’.
Actually 1.3.2 directory doesn’t exist while sci_ipot directory does and is containing everything for the installation , including the archive : pb during extraction ?
Thanks,
David
Hello David,
We didn’t have time to check that all toolboxes load OK in the new release of Scilab. Toolboxes with only Scilab scripts and functions should load OK with the new mechanism (if no compiled version exists, the toolbox is rebuilt and loaded on the fly). However, this is more complicated for toolboxes with gateways as it (most of the time) supposes that you have a compiler and for some toolboxes you even need to build with a development version of Scilab (having the whole source tree). I am in charge of this particular toolbox so let me a few days to fix this…

Hello,
I have updated the toolbox, if you refresh the package list you will see the new 1.3.3 version. I have made some tests and everything seems OK.
