Hi everyone, with the migration of Scilab development tools to Gitlab, I wonder where I can report suggestions like former Scilab Enhancement Proposals in bugzilla : is it to be reported in ‘Issues’ with specific Tag ? or priorily moderated here in Community user forum ?
My point is that I assume it would be very useful to have a Scilab feature to explore recursively the leaves of the tree in Treeview editor for complex list objects, up to editvar edition.

You can make a feature request by creating an issue at https://gitlab.com/scilab/scilab/-/issues/new with the “Wishlist” label.

I created an issue on gitlab and I tried to write in different way to add Wishlist as a label but it fails to display:
/label Wishlist
/label ~Wishlist
/label “Wishlist”
/label ~“Wishlist”
none of this syntax are displaying anything in this bug #16945
Is there any tip to do this ?

Normally It is the second one (/label ~Wishlist)
But it is possible that some rights are necessary to add labels.

I do have a menu list on the right, with epic, label,… but only like a current status view, no feature to edit or assign label.
I created my Gitlab account just a few weeks ago when migration test started, following the basic guidelines : should I configure something from my account side or register somewhere in Scilab Gitlab ?

With a basic account you cannot give labels to an issue, you must be at least “reporter”. @Antoine would it be fine to systematically promote issue reporters ?

But in gitlab members, I don’t see your request.

Hi Antoine, yes I found this link next to Scilab project and I retracted since I was not sure it’s the expected user behaviour for even basic issue reporter. Do you confirm the way to proceed for potentially any Scilab user (at least to report bug or share snippets): to register on gitlab and request access to Scilab project ?
