I am trying to use the Readf block and no values are being read from the file. I had this working with an install of 2026 on LMint 21.3 but there were lots of other bugs and stability problems. I found that the Java I had was 11 and read somewhere that 2026 required at least 17. So I upgraded to LMint 22 and that came with Java 21. Not the stability issues have cleared but the same model of simply reading a data file does not work. The debug output on the SciLab console does not show any file read errors but the plot shows nothing. I am wondering if this is another dependency issue.

Launch Scilab from the command line and give the eventual messages you get there when running the diagram.

Not sure what you mean. if i run from a terminal ./sclab-cli then it does not allow me to run xcos which is necessary to run the diagram. I think.
just run scilab not scilab-cli
nothing is printed in the terminal that I launch ./scilab from. In the Scilab Console is printed:
vent: 1 activated at t=0.000000
mod
End of activation
can you post the diagram and the file you are trying to read ?

Actually I reverted back to version 2024.0.0 and everything works fine in LMint 22.3.
