Formatting Connections

I am a new user, trying out the current release, on Windows and Linux.

I have created a couple xcos models, and I am trying to add some text documentation to the signal connections. Right-clicking on a connection offers the menu item Format->Edit, but then there is no dialog box that appears. I’ve tried this on Windows 11, with the flatpack Linux release, and with the Linux tar.xz release.

Am I missing something? This seems to be the only way provided to add a name to a connection, and yet doesn’t appear to work.

First, welcome to Sciab’s Discourse !

There is no connection text attribute. Usually, users add text annotation by double-clicking on the diagram background. A right-click on the text entity shows a contextual menu where you can edit the attributes (rotation, …).
