# CMSCOPE block parameters

Hello, I am trying to simulate a step response behaviour. How can I set the maximum time of the simulation to a smaller value than 30s?  
I thought this can be done by the “refresh periods” parameter, but it seems not to be so. When i set different time parameters, the behaviour is very strange for me. Please take a look at the screenshot.  
I just want to simulate from 0 to 5 seconds. How can I do this easily?

You can set the final time in the Simulation/Setup menu item.
