# A handy online Scilab server

There’s an India-based online Scilab server:

```
                               https://cloud.scilab.in/

```

Even though it apparently runs an older version of Scilab, it will be quite convenient, esp. for students using (the nowadays ubiquitous in educational establishments) Chromebooks, that cannot run Scilab natively.  
Here’s a screenshot that shows the server executing a simple example:

This initiative was great, but now it is superseeded by JupyterHub + Scilab Kernel, which has many more features.
